What is Lasik?
Laser in-situ keratomileusis, or LASIK, is a common procedure for correcting eyesight in patients who are having myopia (near sightedness), hyperopia (far sightedness) and astigmatism.
LASIK is usually painless and generally takes approximately 15 minutes to treat both eyes. The improvement in vision is almost immediate, and it usually stabilizes in as little as 24 hours.
